Operational Support Services

Requested by the Field.Built for the Mission.

Veteran Command's Operational Support Services division takes experience earned in real-world military, intelligence, national security, and law enforcement environments and puts it back to work.

OSS provides practical training and operational support for military, intelligence, national security, and law enforcement teams. Our work includes Advanced Interview & Interrogation training, custom instruction, scenario development, and advisory support built around your organization’s mission.

Veteran Command OSS — Operational Support Services. Enable missions. Deliver impact.

OSS was built around a simple idea: the people operating at the edge of the mission deserve training that reflects the reality of the mission.

Not theory for theory's sake.

Not another slide deck built by someone who has never had to apply it.

We bring together operational experience, behavioral science, proven methodology, and realistic scenario-based training to help organizations develop people who can think, communicate, adapt, and perform when the outcome matters.

Enable missions. Deliver impact.

Transfer the Experience.

The Veteran Command mission has always been bigger than products.

Some experiences should be preserved.

Others should be passed forward.

OSS exists to transfer lessons learned across decades of military service, intelligence operations, Special Operations support, national security missions, instruction, and leadership to the professionals carrying those missions forward today.

Our instructors and advisors combine practitioner experience with evidence-based research to build training around the environments our customers actually operate in.

That means fewer canned scenarios.

More difficult conversations.

More realistic problems.

More repetitions.

And skills participants can actually use when they return to the field.

Built Differently.

Operational Experience

Training informed by real missions, real organizations, and real operational environments.

Science-Backed Methods

Behavioral science, cognitive psychology, memory research, communication science, and evidence-based interviewing methodology.

Practical Application

Scenario-driven instruction, role players, coaching, repetition, structured feedback, and after-action review.

Learn it. Practice it. Pressure-test it. Take it back to the mission.

Featured Course

Advanced Interview & Interrogation

Our flagship training program brings modern interviewing science and operational experience together in an intensive three-day course designed for investigators, intelligence professionals, and national security practitioners.

Participants move beyond traditional interview techniques and learn how rapport, cognition, memory, questioning strategy, persuasion, resistance, bias, and decision-making influence the quality of information obtained during an interview.

But the classroom is only the beginning.

Students apply the concepts through progressive exercises, role-play, instructor coaching, and realistic interview scenarios designed to force adaptation rather than memorization.

The objective is not simply to create better interviewers.

It is to create better thinkers under pressure.

One Standard

OSS has delivered Advanced Interview & Interrogation training to federal law enforcement professionals across multiple iterations, refining the program with each class through student feedback, instructor observation, and operational lessons learned.

Recent courses have included training in San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by our latest delivery at the National Academy for Advanced Training & Leadership in Huntsville, Alabama, where agents received three days of classroom instruction, applied exercises, and scenario-based training.

Each iteration informs the next.

Because operational training should evolve with the people and missions it supports.

Built Around Your Mission.

No two organizations operate exactly the same way.

OSS engagements can be adapted around the customer rather than forcing the customer into a predetermined template.

Training can incorporate organization-specific scenarios, policies, operational environments, regional considerations, casework, exercises, conferences, or existing training programs.

Tell us the problem you're trying to solve. We'll build from there.

Bring OSS to Your Team.

For federal agencies, military organizations, intelligence partners, law enforcement organizations, and mission-focused teams seeking training or operational support.

Tell us about your organization, mission requirement, audience, location, and desired outcome. Veteran Command will work with your team to develop the appropriate training or support package.
